2006年10月5日，FileZilla这个最好的开源FTP客户端终于迎来了3.0版本！
在此之前，虽然FileZilla经过了无数的2.0版本升级，非常优秀，无论是功能还是稳定性都非常不错。可是作为开源软件却不支持Linux，这不能不说是一个很大的遗憾。
一直以来我们都在寻找一款Linux下的、功能强大的、使用方便的、稳定可靠的FTP客户端。FileZilla 3.0的到了，虽然它现在功能还不完善，但我想凭借作者这么多年FTP客户端的设计经验，我想我们无需再去寻找了。
官方的公告如下：
FileZilla 3 is a complete rewrite of the client and is able to run on every major platform, including Windows, Linux, Mac OS X and *BSD.
Other new features of FileZilla 3 include:
- Directory listing filter
- Network Configuration Wizard including online test
However, a lot of features are still missing and scheduled for future beta versions. Especially the user interface will still undergo a lot of changes.
